The masters have been placed in the “lockbox” so to speak. I think I can comfortably say that even with some sub-par gear, I produced a very polished 3-track demo. I impressed the band enough that they’re hiring me on again to work on their full-length LP. It should be good times.
If you’d like to check them out, they’re at All Too Familiar’s MySpace account

For the last couple days, I’ve been working to help a local band in Tulsa – All Too Familiar – to record a new 3-track demo. The band’s lineup has shifted recently and they’ve tuned up their guitars from dropped-A to standard dropped-D. So most, if not everything in their catalog, has been revised. A grand total of about 17 hours and I think everything that needs to be on tape for the demo is there sans a couple guitar re-takes. I haven’t sat behind a mixing console in only a couple months and it’s already been too long. I’m really looking forward to mixing and mastering the demo this weekend.
