There’s this technique I’ve been practicing lately which is to ask myself every now and then while awake “Am I awake or asleep?”. Even better is it if you can jump or test your surroundings in some sort of way, but it’s not always convenient to do so around other people, lol. It might sound a bit awkward, but whatever you do repetitively finds its way to your subconsciousness, so eventually you will start asking yourself this question in your dreams as well.
I’ve had two dreams lately where I figured out that I was dreaming. It was especially helpful in the second one where I in the end could confront my fear and the ones that were following me, and then they weren’t scary anymore! In the other one I was just playing around. I’m just hoping these types of dreams will occur more frequently.
