i got lazy and i started a new job with a lot more demands than i’ve had in the past.
i’ve picked it back up (winter=horrible timing) by working on my mile time on the treadmill. from day one to day two i was able to cut a minute.
which isn’t amazing – my first time back on the hamster wheel was not good.
hoping to make a 5k in the spring.

i made my first long run in months… only 3.5 miles, but i started getting muscle cramps. maybe from the cold? it was about 31 degrees, but the wind on the return trip was agonizing! so i had to cut it short, and call for a ride.

the plan is to run 3 miles twice weekly and get in a five mile run each sunday. i already do circuit training three times a week. i need to shave some time off my 15-minute mile though :(

i’ve gone from running an average of 12-15 miles a week to barely clearing 3. it’s too cold…. and i’m a wimp.
