And while it’s not a dream job, it is really great. I get to do work I like, and I’m appreciated for my skills. I know, like any corporate environment, it will have ups and downs… but it’s MUCH better than where I was before!

Today I resigned from my job. I have been sick, and I realized that once I feel better, I don’t want to go back to a job that makes me feel terrible. Once I feel better, I just need to lock down my job search, which I have two really solid leads on, and move forward.
Closing a door rarely felt so good.
I had a really good interview last Thursday, and now I’m just waiting to hear back. It may not be my dream job, but it would be a huge improvement over my current one, both in money and responsibility. Fingers crossed… of course if that doesn’t work out it’s back to polishing the resume…
