Flipped my hub around to ride fixie for the first time. Great ride. Flipped the hub with no worries. Took the opportunity to clean the bike and chain. Next project: New brakes!

I hope. I mean, I havne’t had a chance to go for a ride yet, but after a bit of tinkering, I seem to have gotten rid of the tightness. Adjusted the seat while I was at it, and wiped the bike frame clean. My next goal is to do some preventative maintenance—including clean and oil chain, etc. I also want to flip my hub to a fixed gear.
My headset is tight… At about a 25 or 30 degree turn in either direction, it fixes in place. I’m using Todd Downs’ “Bicycle Maintenance & Repair” and hoping an adjustment will loosen it up a bit.
