“I believe everyone should have the opportunity in life to explore at least some of their passions and interests – if not all of them. To me, life is about having experiences. It’s about discovering your potential, pursuing your passions, chasing your dreams and sharing your experiences. It’s about doing the things you love and enjoying the things you’re interested in. It’s about connecting with people in ways you may not consider relevant, or even possible. To me, life is about paying it forward, and not just in a monetary sense, but an emotional one. You can never know how much you can positively impact someone’s life just by contributing to the simplest of things – a smile, an encouraging word or two, or sharing your own experience with a similar situation.

Which is why I’ve joined 43Things. Helping people is something I’ve always wanted to do with my life, and this website will provide me with the perfect opportunity to start doing just that; whether I’m contributing to a fundraiser (if that’s allowed here), offering advice on a personal project, or even something as simple as just being a source of encouragement.

There’s no limit to the number of lives you can impact by showing an ounce of compassion. People can do just about anything when they have a healthy support system.

I aspire to be a part of that support system.”
