Well, my friend and I cut off about 11” to donate to locks of love. It’s not really short, but it’s as short as I’ve ever had it. Her’s was really short and it looked great.

On December 15th 2007, after 4 1/2 years I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University. I now have a BS in Art Education and received my teaching license. I am certified to teach art in grades K-12. Unfortunately, it isn’t easy to get a teaching job in the middle of the school year. I can’t wait until August to start a full time job.
I first donated blood when I was in high school. They came to our school and I thought, sure, why not. Then they came to my work a year or so later. Soon, my brother and I would go together every 3 months. Now I go with my friend sometimes, too. My Granddaddy donated blood regularly. Ironically, he was diagnosed with leukemia later in life and greatly benefited from the donations of others in his last years. I think of him whenever I’m there and I’m glad because I know he would be proud.
