Me and my boyfriend went to see Bill in our home town. The gig was awesome and then we waited outside after the show to meet him! He was really nice, signed my book and we got a photo! Great night.

I’ve been a huge Tom fan for years and it’s always been my dream to meet him. I bought tickets to see Blink 182 at Sheffield motorpoint arena. Boomer was selling a VIP meet and greet to raise money for breast cancer awareness. It was a lot of money but I just had to go for it! Before the show I was sent an email to tell me where I needed to go. I met up with someone from the blink team and another girl who had the meet and greet VIP package. Because there were just us two we got to meet Tom in his dressing room! So off we went. I was so nervous I was shaking. We were taken to the dressing room and asked to wait there. We could hear Tom talking, it made me smile. We were told he was ready just as we were walking in he came to greet us with a big smile “Hello ladies” We walked in. “I’m Tom” he said. He really needs no introduction! We talked for a bit. I handed him the painting I had done for him and he seemed to really like it. I was then able to get some things signed. He was so cool about it even though I’d brought loads of stuff! I showed him my tattoos of AVA and my blink 182 lyrics. He was like what song are they from he laughed. I told him they were from pathetic. I said I’ll be getting his autograph tattooed so what is his favourite colour. He said he loves orange. After the signing, we were able to get a photo with him. I remember thinking oh my god my arm is around Tom Delonge! After that I said thank you, he smiled and said “Bye ladies” He was lovely and very humble. Maybe next time I meet him I won’t be quite so nervous and I can talk to him more. After that we were able to go backstage and I was given some of Tom and Marks picks! This was an amazing experience and well worth the money.
