This is a book written by Patricia Cornwell, absolutely brilliant, couldnt put the book down once I started to read it!
Even if you are not an avid reader of this sort of thing you will be sure to be intrigued by the research and findings by the author. (also includes photographs of the victims and map of THE LONDON AREA where all the atrocities took place)It also gives you an insight to how things were for the poor fellows of London in the dark and gloomy time of the late 1800s. Enjoy.

not just today or tomorrow or next week, i want to be a good wife, fullstop.
theres not a day that goes bye that I dont tell my husband that I love him or kiss him. I want my marriage to last my life time, to me he’s not just my husband but my best friend, someone to laugh with, cry with and just generally be a big kid with, its always the little things that mean the world to me… I honestly couldnt imagine my life with out him, its like the film The Titanic or the dvd Notebook where the old couple are lying in their bed together and that is how they die “together” to me that would be how I’d like to die….an old woman in my husbands arms “safe”
Marriage to me is something that needs worked at everyday, I’m an old fashioned woman, I told my husband that when he marries me, he marries me for life, divorce is a dirty word in my vocabulary!!! Being a young wife and mother I find it sad that you see so many couples divorcing in todays world, every couple go through hard times but surely something as important as marriage is worth fighting for… just remember “why” you got married in the first place For me it was plain and simple…....I LOVED HIM ENOUGH THAT I WANTED TO SHARE THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH HIM, to experience the rest of my life with this one man…..

My hubby and I have gone over there twice in the last 2 years, the first time we did all the touristy things but the second time round it was so much better, instead of rushing around trying to cram everything in , the second time it was so much more relaxing. We spent our Anniversary night having a Candlelit Cruise with a 5 course meal, it was Brilliant, great company, great food what more can I say. We enjoyed it so much that we are taking our kids (6 IN TOTAL, MY 4 FROM A PREVIOUS AND MY 2 STEP CHILDREN) over there in October. Whether its sunny or cold you will be sure to enjoy all of what Amsterdam has to offer. xxx
