I’m pretty excited that I only have one week left in the program. The longer runs have become more doable and I’m challenging myself by increasing my speed a little bit. I haven’t broken 2 miles in distance in my timed runs yet, but I’m getting closer. Can’t wait to finish this.

How I did it: I finished a couch to 5K program and right now I'm trying to do 3 runs a week. One where I increase my distance by .25 of a mile, one where I run short sprints at 5 mph, and one outdoors. Plus I also use the rowing machine and elliptical as well. Also I am either packing my lunch, eating breakfast, and eating a light lunch. I kind of slacked off for the past two weeks, but did really well with my … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I followed the cool running program and did exactly what it told me to do. I completed the program on a treadmill using time instead of distance so I'm not quite able to run a 5K, but I can jog 2.1 miles so I've just got to work on that last mile. The program is good as it's only 3 times a week and most of the early runs can be done in less than 30 minutes, which is great if you are busy.I've lost 15lbs during the course… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Following the couch to 5K program and not eating out as much. After my runs, I do about half an hour on the elliptical. Packing my lunch instead of eating out saves me money and calories. We don't have money to order in or eat out really so that has been a big help. As a result I have now lost 12lbs and weight less than I have in years. I can't wait to lose even more. Read how I did it…

My final weight in for June is 160.2 lbs. I hoping to be at 160 or below very soon!
I am not a runner. Yet today I jogged for 25 minutes straight. This program is fantastic and if anyone is thinking about it I say go for it. I remember when I felt nervous jogging for 90 seconds and that was only two months ago now I can jog 25 minutes straight. It’s hard, but I can do it.
I’ve lost over 10lbs with the help of this program. I have more energy and I feel better. I look forward to my runs now. It’s hard to believe I only have 8 workouts left.
I am not a runner, but I think I’m becoming one.
