buy a turntable
Untitled 8 months ago

I ended up getting a SONY Stereo Turntable System PS-LX200H which I found for 25 $ through craigslist. The sound quality is pretty descent. Well worth it!

get a record player
1960s refurbished General Electric Solid State Automatic record player 8 months ago

In addition to the turntable we recently bought, we also purchased a 1960s refurbished General Electric Solid State Automatic record player through eBay which among other things, is also capable of playing the rare old 78 RPM records we occasionally find in estate sales/eBay/garage sales (the turntable is only capable of playing 33 RPM records and 45 RPM records). Nevertheless, the turntable has a much better sound quality which it produces in conjunction with our receiver and our home theater sound system while the record player is only capable of producing sound through its internal speakers.

get a hammock
currently searching for a good used one on Craigslist and Ebay 8 months ago

I am looking for a two person hammock + stand.

I rather get a Brazilian one since they are much nicer.

I also need to figure out a way to have protect it protected from the elements of nature during the snowy winters (we don’t have place for it inside).

Try refilling printer ink catridges
Untitled 9 months ago

with the price of new ink catridges these days I think it is definatly something I need to start doing, even though the printer companies warn that using refilled ink might harm the printer (buying a new printer would still be cheaper than the total ammount of money we spend on new ink catridges).

teach my baby sign language
I need to print out a chart from the "Signing Time!" videos I have 9 months ago

The twins whom portrayed Little Jack in the movie “Meet the Fockers” learned sign language from watching Signing Time! videos. altough the videos are nice, I rather teach her sign language by myself and refrain from sitting a 6 month old baby in front of a TV screen.
