I work at a state hospital and we have a pet therapy program. I would like to train a parrot as a therapy animal.

How I did it: I got my masters at NYU in May 2008. My undergraduate degree was in Studio Art with minors in Women's Studies & Psychology. During my program, I interned with Visiting Nurse Services at a day center for the frail elderly and at a pediatric hospital for medically fragile children from birth to age 21.
