I read about this fantastic idea! You buy a national (or international) map and then mark the locations where all your friends and family members live. The locations can be marked with pictures, contact info, birthdays, special events, and other fun things. I was thinking this would really encourage and remind me to keep in touch with all the people I love who are so far away from me.
