I recently had a friend make a decision that I believe to be completely foolish. So I told her so. This decision could ruin her life. I told her exactly how I felt about it in no uncertain terms. She’s still going ahead with it. But I will never have to feel like I could have stopped it if things go wrong.

How I did it: I made the choice and thought it through so that I was mentally prepared to accept the change. I looked up as much information as I could about healthy eating on the internet. I got my husband on board for support and encouragement. We looked up new tasty recipes. We made a shopping list that focuses on eating healthy meals We put a little more effort into cooking. Last minute meals are usually the least healthy ones. Ever… Read how I did it…
I’ve been working out in our basement about 5 times a week since someone gave us a stationary bike. I’m sure that it was the fist one ever made, but it burns calories. Come spring I plan to become a power-walker, since that will undoubtedly be more cardio than pumping my legs in circles. I’ve also been doing strength exercises, alternating between arms and abs and legs and glutes every other day. I know I have the ability to be super hot. I just have to peel back the layers of fat that are hiding it. By wedding #1(I’m in 2 weddings between now and fall), I want to be back to the size I was when I got married. By summer, I want to be back to the size I was when I graduated. I’m doing really well so far, so I believe I can accomplish these goals.
It seems there’s always a reason to save more money. I have a better paying job now, so that will help. Current goals are moving across the country and paying for school if the hubby gets into a master’s program. If not, buying a house seems like a great investment. Or a car, since we don’t own one.
