G1 Our first adventure sees us at the Ice Arena watching the Rhinos play ice hockey. Without any effort at all, the we (G1 and G2) has turned into a six of us- 3 of our single guy friends and a girlfriend (who has a partner). It’s an odd mix- but we are determined to have a great time. The atmosphere is electric!

By quarter time I have decided that I could easily marry a hockey player- sportiness is a very appealing quality.

So far new friends: Three little girls who have an obsession with #25. I’ll let G2 put a spin on the night….

G2. Well, our first adventure…..first ice hockey game EVER, we didn’t even know what team we were going for. It was a fun night, firstly because it’s something we had never done and had a great bunch of friends wih us. Yeah….so the meeting new friends factor didn’t really happen but certainly confidence was higher than normal. It’s funny when u approach life with a certain attitude, how far it can get u….anyway, the night ended with a yummy and very hilarious night of Chinese. If nothing else it was just a great night with old buddies. We’d never really hung in that group before but it was great getting male perspective on things and vice versa for them….never under value ur friendships, they can teach u so much. So…..ready for the next adventure. TIME TO MEET NEW PEOPLE!!

introduction

The story 2 years ago

G1 So….the story behind our page- yes our page. There are two of us. We are two young women in our twenties. These prime years are lots of fun, filled with adventurous moments, loads of laughs and plenty of tears. These are the “grown up”years…and we are enjoying every minute. We love life but have found that our circle of friends has thinned out somewhat. Lots of them are getting married and starting their own lives- leaving us with what feels like a shrinking circle of friends to socialize with.

So, instead of crying and moaning about this social desert- we are determined to expand, get out there and meet loads of new people by trying new things, going to new places and basically busting out of our comfort zones….So, here goes our unfolding tale.

G2. Hey there….girl number 2 now :) We are looking forward to our new adentures so make sure u follow us on how we are doing. I also send out the challenge to anyone else in the same boat….live a little. Do something u have always wanted to, challenge yourself and take others on your journey. We hope to hear from you along the way. Well….here goes, wish us luck!
