I don’t know how useful Arabic will be to me, but I’m really drawn to the language for some reason. I’ve spent some time in Cairo and took an Arabic class while I was there. I learned enough to get by (talking to cab drivers and waiters, fending off the boys ;) etc.) but that was almost 3 years ago and I’ve lost a lot of what I had. It’s such a bad ass language! I’ve got the Rosetta Stone level 1 program now, and hopefully it’s as good as they say it is. It’s funny… I took German in high school, and although it is much easier than Arabic, I cheated my way through. Go figure.

How I did it
How I did it: I got into the nursing program at my college by taking two packed semesters of pre-requisites. I've never been a good student. In fact, in high school I failed several classes.
