I ran about a mile with our dog yesterday. I’m not sure whether it helps or hurts to have her pulling me along. I’ll gradually increase mileage. I’m not in any hurry. I’d like to do the Cooper Bridge Run in Charleston, SC, next year, or the Peachtree race in Atlanta next year, so I have plenty of time to get to that level. I already walk the dog about 2 miles a day, and have stayed in OK shape, so hopefully with that base it won’t be too bad.

I need to work on the throws for 3 card monte, but it is pretty cool. I also bought a box with three tricks in it, disappearing coin and disappearing ball. They are both pretty easy to use. I’m not about to quit my day job yet.
