How I did it: I practiced against three level nines on a team against me until I was confident enough to challenge my friends who are way better than me. Whether or not I fully mastered him is debatable since perfection does not exist. I know all of his moves and all of the little tricks and when to use each of these. I know which characters he is good against and which he's at a disadvantage against. Practice Practice Practice … Read how I did it…
Well this hasnt been the best of weeks in terms of this goal…I have no clue where the time went…With a million physics problems and a research paper due tomorrow I’m somewhat overwhelmed…Its been a while since Ive had to pull an all nighter…won’t this be grand…
No more of this, from now on Im actually going to do my work right away so I can actually enjoy the time I have off.
I’m not one who goes around making friends with complete strangers…I don’t want to become one of those either…but I do wish to improve my social skills…I find it difficult to carry on a conversation, especially if there are multiple people involved…One on one I can mostly handle but when I run out of things to say the situation becomes awkward…I’ve kinda been working on this just by talking to more people. I used AIM last summer to look closer at how conversations flow (I’m much better at instant message conversations) and tried to adapt that to everyday interactions…
These past few weeks, I’ve noticed that my social interactions have diminished significantly…both in person and online…I’ve kept mostly to myself which isn’t good…
The most obvious way to improve is just to talk to more people right?
