i just poured resin

I have some resin, now hardening, in rubber molds that I made myself. Exciting. They will be ready to pop out in the morning.
pieces, waiting

I have these lovely pieces of computer insides, seeds from hikes in Griffith Park, strange spices from an Indian store and ziplocs of broken glass. They are waiting for me to combine, break, embed, glue, polish or stack. I just have to make time for these small lifeless things. Why is that so hard? They are practically screaming at me. I hear them. And yet, here I sit. Typing about them.
