Mimi has an open heart and is committed to living the rest of her life the best way she can. She’s not proud of her past, but she doesn’t hide it either. She’s also comfortable with herself & doesn’t apologize for who she is.

Often I hide behind my past or use it an as excuse for why things are so screwed-up. The truth is things are screwed-up because I haven’t done anything to change them I’ve beaten myself up about things that are dead & buried and can’t be changed. I also bend over backward to please other people who don’t matter to me anyways. I don’t wanna do that anymore.

I keep on buying books at Goodwill for $1 and I have yet to read most them, so I’m basically wasting my money.
