“You are not the one who filled your mind with negative thoughts, criticisms, blame and guilt. These thoughts were planted by someone else, by other people. And to make it worse, even though people caused you to develop social anxiety, it is you who has to deal with it now.”

In mid-March I weighed a whopping 136 pounds. I’m 5’1” so that’s technically overweight. I also received news from my doctor that I have high cholesterol. This completely freaked me out and truly gave me the motivation to eat right and consistently workout.
I began eating a lot healthier, relying on a high protein diet. I joined a spin class which is challenging but SO much fun if you get the right instructor. I’ve also gotten into a pretty good routine at the gym, and spend about an hour on cardio and 15 minutes on weights/lunges. I try to go at least 4 times a week.
Two months later and I’m happy to report that I now weigh 128 pounds! I know 8 pounds may not seem like a lot, but to see the number consistently drop on the scale is SUCH a great feeling.
My goal is 110-115 range and I hope to get there by mid-July. =)
I’m getting my hair colored next week for the fall season and a fresh start. This summer I had my natural light brown hair with some highlights throughout, and I plan to switch to richer brown with some red undertones.
Anyway, next week I’m starting my new weightloss routine also. Although I’m not setting strict goal dates for myself, I would love to be at my ideal weight by December 31st! To do so I would need to lose at a pace of 1.5 pounds per week.
