Complete Power 90 (read all 2 entries…)
day 31

Well yesterday marked my 1/3 done mark. So far so good. It’s not easy doing power 90. Exercising 6 days a week is a big commitment. It still takes a whole lot of mental pushing to force myself to stick to the routine and do the workouts. But the results so far have been fantastic.

I’ve moved from my initial 5 pounds of resistance up to 20 pounds. My arms and legs look great. None of my clothes fit anymore (weight watchers has helped with that too tho). I’m starting to see my abs, but its gonna take more weight loss and working out to get where i need to get. Overall, I’m very happy with Power 90 and have to keep pushing to make it the other 2/3 of the way. This workout routine is very worthwhile and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into shape in the privacy of their own home. If you are frustrated in the beginning, don’t be. It gets easier but it never gets easy, and its not supposed to. If it was easy, everyone would naturally have a kickin bod. We have to earn ours, so let’s work for it.

I’m moving onto the next dvd this week, the level 3-4 disc of everything. Man, I’m going to be sore.

Meet goal on Weight Watchers
16 lbs down, 54 to go

I blame college.
Or should I say my ability to drink horrific amounts of alcohol, eat nothing but junk food, and participate in no physical activity (unless you count beer pong or wing eating contests). Thanks to college I ballooned up from an already slightly hefty 195 to a big ol 246.
I’ve tried several things, but always haphazardly and without much stick. Until Weight Watchers Online. A month in, I’ve lost 16 lbs, and have continued to stick with the plan pretty rigidly. Today I started an exercise program, Power 90, to start adding workouts to the weight watching, and I’m hoping that will help keep me going towards my goal.
To those who don’t use the online tools, I find them invaluable. Also, check http://dottisweightlosszone.com/ for a much more in depth and free list of foods and restaurants with the points already calculated, very helpful.

1 down, 89 to go

I’m pumped.
I’m motivated.
I’m getting in shape.

After a month on weight watchers and losing 16 pounds, it was time to add exercise to the program.

Last night I received the dvds, went and bought 2 adjustable weight dumbbells, a floor mat, training gloves, and a heart rate monitor(which i am pretty sure im taking back).

Starting low to tone with only 5 lb weights on sculpt, but soon I know I’ll be bulging with some heavies.

Look out ladies.
