It seems that time flys by while you are doing…...Nothing!
I promised to knit winter caps, scarves, and mittens for some
underprivilaged Native American kids near Mammoth Lakes. They are due sometime in November. Is it only me, or is a deadline staring you straight in the face the only thing that will get you focused enough to face the task at hand?

One KANA at a time

I purchased Kana Flash cards from Amazon.com, and practiced while my DH and I were driving to his folks home.
A small dry erase board and the cards are easy to carry around.
They are from Amazon.com and are made at White Rabbit Press.
While you are at it, get the CD and you are good tho go.
A friend of mine recommended to learn the letters and sounds
first, because you will be able to pick up a Japanese paper and at least recognize the letters. That is my plan for now.
