If you want to do this, don’t think too much, just act. Then keep on acting until you get settled in the country of your choice. A warning: you’ll never be the same. But that’s a good thing.

Just do it… but be prepared for and aware of the consequences. It’s unlike anything else. It’s just you up there (and your instructor if you go tandem) with your thoughts, fears, dreams, falling, falling, falling back to reality. Those few minutes seem to exist outside of time. I can still feel them with me; 7 years later I can still put myself back there in that vast, expansive freedom. I love looking at the sky, thinking “I’ve been there.”
I went 3 times that summer. I highly recommend taking the opportunity, should it arrise.
