in August of 1992. In honor of a friend of mine that was one of the first human marrow transplant patients of Dr. E Donnell Thomas at The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in the early ‘70s. She is a survivor due to his research and a real inspiration to all that are lucky to know her!

How I did it: On a non-rev day trip to San Francisco in 2000, I wanted to show my friend the shop in North Beach where scenes from "So I Married An Ax Murderer" were filmed. with this corner of England! Some of the most beautiful gardens and coastal scenery that I have ever had the pleasure of exploring with a group of fellow Master Gardeners. I want to go back and share it with my husband, as well as gorge myself on the clotted cream & scones served in the National Trust tearooms!
anytime of year, but especially during the Holidays! SO much to do ~ all the hustle & bustle everywhere you go. Rockefeller Center for the ice rink & the Giant Christmas Tree a Carriage Ride in Central Park, Window shopping up & down 5th Ave and then Lunch at Sak’s to take a load off. A brisk walk to the ABC Home Store for their fabulous displays and break for a cuppa Tea. Strolling to Macy’s to see the children waiting to visit Santa. In the evening stop by The Fete de Noel in Brandt Park to explore the stalls filled with artist’s wares for unique stocking stuffers & gifts. Ohhh, I want to do this again !!
