I missed an opportunity and have been kicking myself since. I WILL shake the man’s hand one day. Maybe a kiss on the cheek if I’m bold! :P

How I did it: Ugh! What a day it was! Car broke down on the way to break the news and had to walk 20mins to get there on a sweltering day! So I was all red faced and sweating when I told my boss, haha. I'd been panicking about it all night previous but it was all very friendly and smooth - I wrote a little 'thank you and good bye' card and everything. Walked out that afternoon and haven't looked back!I've since started a teaching course at university, … Read how I did it…
How I did it: My wonderful father who found all the episodes for me to watch (before they were aired in Oz) - I buy all the DVD's as soon as they're out of course - but I don't really think I could have waited! XDThere's more of the show to come - but I don't feel this needs to be a goal anymore - it's now a part of me! Read how I did it…
...the flames are now licking my body.
I need to go. At this point in my life I need to make some serious choices. This job is forcing me to behave in a way contrary to my nature. I’ve learnt from my trainer that it’s pretty much necessary to lie to the boss about the status of your tasks – as she’s such an insufferable nag that there’s no other way to keep her happy. I got into the habbit of lying far too much during my final year of school and I’m sure as hell not going to start again for this woman – in this stupid job that I am simply not suited for.
Hopefully I can finish up within the next month. I’m seeing a lady who is helping me find some direction in terms of career/study – and she’s even offered to give me a reference! =)
God give me courage to leave. I really believe it’ll be for the best. This job is sucking me dry.
