Things I am grateful for:

1. Sticking with Jenny Craig today.
2. Listening to Respect cover by Melanie Amaro. I actually thought she did a good job and yes, I did like her on Xfactor USA. I think she will sell more records with the cover.
3. Scheduling with RE.
4. Possible plan with SW and ZD this coming friday or saturday evening to go to Best Buy and Gamestop in a plaza.
5. Talking on the phone with my mom and wishing prayers for a speedy recovery for her friend C.
6. Chatting with my sister LRH on Facebook.
7. Did a slight bit of homework and stopped when I got stressed.
8. Balanced check book.
9. RE apologizing to me for being insensitive. I accepted her apology.I will still not talk about the incident on Friday.
10. Meeting with SJ and RE about the incident which I will not talk about.

6. Current President of the USA, Former US senator (Junior), and Former State Represenative of IL, Barack Obama

Barack Obama has to be one of my favorite presidents of all time.

He is improving the economy slowly, advocated and passed health care reform, repealed Don’t ask Don’t Tell, Made exisiting Stem Cell research lines legal again. He had/has a strong education voting record as well as a strong healthcare voting record when he was in Senate.

He is very intelligent and very well-educated.He has excellant communication skills unlike some of our past presidents.

For more information on his voting record including vetos as president, go to projectvotesmart.org

Things I was grateful for:

1. I paid my rent and electric bill.
2. I had a good counseling appt at SCSU.I felt I needed to go because I was worried about my academics. I felt I could understand the counselor and I felt she tried very hard to give me good suggestions about stress management when it comes to homework. She wrote down her advice on a piece of paper like I wanted her to do.I felt open to talking to her and I felt she listened very well (I talked to her about my middle school years, which I am normally not open to talking about). She gave me advice about marijuana and told me I should not smoke since I have a history of a psychotic or manic episode because there are studies showing it can make the condition worse. I didn’t even know about this.I made an appt. to see the counselor again in two weeks to discuss academics.

3.I had a good class yesterday. I met with my professor after class to discuss my homework. I handed in the assignment I got an extension on.
4. After the appt. I ate my Jenny Craig lunch and went to the DRC to see if I have any notes.
5. I watched food network with K, a residential staff who came to my apt to talk about my situation (which I will NOT discuss). Don’t worry it turned out okay.

I will not discuss the situation with anyone here on 43things. I do not feel comfortable discussing it online. I would rather discuss it in person with someone I know and trust.
