I’m at 163 lbs. right now (actually, that’s the top weight. I usually vary within the range about five lbs. below it, and rarely go above it.) So my 10-pound goal will be 153. I’d like to be at around 123, really, which means about forty pounds of loss. I was always in the mid-130’s and then suddenly gained a ton of weight, to my shock and dismay. After many months of waffling, I’m finally getting to work on this minor annoyance.

Fun, beautiful, strange. Tokyo has a skyline that seems to never end and a strange clash of cultures (the traditional and the modern) that somehow seem to coexist despite dramatic differences.
If you’re of the appropriate age, I recommend staying in a youth hostel. You meet all types of people to explore the city with. Harajuku and Akihabara are must-sees, and you should venture into a few temples as well.
I got a barbell on the left side of my lower lip. I love it, though it’s pretty small. I might get a ring later, but this piercing basically didn’t hurt at all. I got two cartilage piercings a few months ago, and they’re still giving me trouble and hurt at times (especially when I got them). This lip piercing has given me no trouble in terms of pain, swelling, or infection. It’s incredible. It’s healed remarkably quickly, and I love it.
The sea salt soaks really help with the healing process, by the way.
The only problem is, now I want to get more things pierced, and my summer job is pretty strict about facial jewelery. There are only so many choices left to me if I can’t get anything more pierced (I can just put in a retainer for this lip piercing).
