I bought a water bottle! I keep it full of filtered water all the time, sitting right next to my laptop or on the bedside table at night. I’ve kept it readily available, and I’ve surprised myself at how much more water I’ve consumed. Plus, an added bonus…if I drink water first when I’m feeling hungry, sometimes I find it was the water I needed—not food.

It tastes so Good. And the substitutes are SO dissatisfying. I suppose a good compromise would be to have one cup of coffee per week the way I want it. I think I’d rather do that than to have to drink nasty schmasty creamer every day. Blech.
So…I have the fireplace screen…and a beautiful 10×12 rug…2 lamps, and a blue end table which I adore…all the bits, but no pieces. Yet. I still need a new sofa, a couple of side chairs or a loveseat, and a coffee table.
I have this serious problem with buying new things…I am SO indecisive. Unless I see something that just “clicks”, and I HAVE to have it, then I’m just wandering around thinking, “Oh, that’s pretty”, or “I suppose that would go.” And then I end up walking out without buying anything at all!!!!!!!
Anyway, my goal is to have color and to buy things that I want to look at every day. Of course, every piece of furniture must also be child friendly. sigh
