I am half way finished Anne Franks Diary. I can’t believe it took me so long to read this book. After visiting the Museum in Amsterdam it is even more poignant. I should be done it by tonight.

I had to break the fast because I couldn’t drink at least 6 glasses a day. I couldn’t stand the taste of lemonade any longer. I broke the fast with steamed vegetables and this morning I feel great. Tons more energy and more spirit.
At this point I dont think I will do it again but who knows!
The best thing I recieved from this cleanse was an appreciation for healthy foods. I am not craving anything bad for me. I just have to have the strength to keep this up.
I am so tired of lemonade/limeade. I would rather have nothing at all but I know that is not good. I am so close to quitting. If things dont improve by tomorrow, I may call it quits. I don’t want to screw up my metabolism by not taking in enough calories. I don’t know what else to do. Maybe I should just plug my nose and chug it.
Finished this yesterday. It was good but I got bored at parts and had to fight skimming past some parts. This is maybe because I was trying to read it quickly though.
(7)Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Just watched an episode where Rory says she read the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe so I’m adding that to the list and I have read it so Yay!
(8)The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
Day 2 was hard. I felt bad and the Cayenne pepper made me not want to drink the drinks at all. I only had 4. I bought the cayenne pills today. It was either that or I was going to quit.
Day 3 is going great. I have a little more energy than yesterday. The SWF went well this morning and I’m just trying to drink enough today as I am yet to have more than 4 a day. But I have already been told I look like I have lost weight. I’m not doing the cleanse for that reason but it was nice to hear!
So I just finished my SWF this morning and thankfully it wasn’t as terrible as I had imagined. The salt water was tolerable. I took the advice of thinking of it as salty soup. I have only tried a sip of the lemonade but it seems tolerable as well but i’m sure by day 3 I will be very tired of it! I’m planning a 10 day cleanse but it would be great if I could make it until September.
Today I started and finished The Bell Jar. It was a fast and good read but I feel I want for more so I am starting the Journals of Sylvia Plath tonight or tomorrow. I think I may start a novel as well but i’m not sure what novel to start from the my list.
(6)The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
(1)Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
(2)Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw
(3)The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
(4)The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
(5)The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand
There are a lot of goals to read the books from Rory Gilmores online book club. I am adding to that any book she is seen reading or speaks of reading on the show. My current list is at tadalist.com
Newer books: http://acereporter.tadalist.com/lists/public/365384
Older books: http://acereporter.tadalist.com/lists/public/355663
These lists are not perfect. There are probably a few books on the wrong list. The older books are usually books I can get at used book stores. If you know of any books Rory has read that I have not included please let me know. (And if you can, tell me in what episode it is shown/mentioned.)
