to take this up for a while. And actually I have found that I do my best work with my cell phone camera! It’s just a little enV2 from Verizon with a 2.0 megapixel lens but I can’t seem to keep a regular camera alive and my enV2 is working fabulously! I’ve even begun printing some of them out and they’re wonderful! I give them to friends and family as gifts and they usually end up in frames. I need to go print more soon and buy frames. And no one needs to know that it’s just my cell phone. The quality is way better than I would have imagined!

How I did it: My mother taught me a little on her shitty singer when I was a kid, much like everyone else. And from there I decided to make my friends prom dress for her out of the blue when I was 19 and it turned out so well that I decided to keep going. From there it was all self-taught. I'm still learning though, just like we all do! You never stop learning! Read how I did it…
How I did it: My best friend and I designed a floral design with a vine and some dots. Very timeless and attractive. Then we asked around to see what place would be best to accomidate our requests as far as price, size and sterility. Then we discussed where we wanted to place them. I wanted mine somewhere I could see it forever so I put it on my forearm. It goes from right above my wrist to below the crook of my elbow. She placed hers on her calf. Read how I did it…
I’ve recently been exploring sewing as an art more than design. I have taken to making tiny tote bags, only about 2 inches by one inch by one inch. Maybe a little larger. They are normally fully lined and have small detailing on them. They are a lot of fun to make and make great little gifts! I’m thinking about making them in mass and creating large sculptures from them. It sounds silly, but the possibilities are endless with shapes and colors. Also it works out nicely to get rid of any little scraps I have lying around.
Recently, I have also finished a larger purse. About clutch-sized that I need a strap for. It looks quite clean and professional, which is suprising since I eyeballed the whole thing! Yay me!
So, long story short, I am making things happen with sewing. Slowly but surely.
I’ve been thinking about for a while. I mean seriously thinking about. I look at models and photoshoots all the time and think to myself “Posing would be soo cool!” Or even a runway model. I think that would suit me more.
