How I did it: It wasn't difficult. I happen to be a major Buffy the Vampire Slayer geek. He happened to create the show. I happened to go to a very geeky convention, where he happened to put in a surprise appearance. Voila, we met, we shook hands, I suppressed my inner squees... How I did it: Ten years ago, a guy I liked and I were having a picnic date. We were eating near the edge of a cliff that jutted out over this gorgeous lake in North Carolina. He suggested jumping into the lake, and even though I'm afraid of heights, I wanted to impress him, so I agreed. It was awesome, in the truest sense of the word. How I did it: During my Alaskan cruise, a few friends and I decided to go kayaking. Our excursion was actually in Canada because part of our cruise passed through their waters. We booked the trip during our first hour onboard the ship and a few days later disembarked in Victoria, Canada. The trip was spectacular.
