I used to DREAD working out and would always talk myself out of it. This was when I would (attempt to) workout after work. I tried switching to working out BEFORE work and it did the trick. Yes, it’s no fun to wake up earlier, but the rewarding feeling you get through the rest of the day and the fact that it’s over and done with is worth it. Plus, at that time, your brain is fresh, you have nothing else going on (e.g. a friend can’t call you up and ask if you want to go a bar), and it’s not as easy to talk yourself out of it. Try it for a few weeks!
