I wanted a motorcycle forever, and finally bought one. I am a female, and I did this just on my own. I didn’t really know how to ride when I bought my first bike, but I could drive a standard-shift automobile, and I read the bike’s owner’s manual over and over. I started off slowly, and I figured it out! I love it. I’m petite, and the last person you’d stereotype as a biker, which makes it all the more fun. I must be good, because—four bikes later—I’m still riding and still alive with all my limbs :) And, years later, the cute guy I met in a bike shop and I are still in love, even though we’ve both moved on with our lives sigh
I have two tattoos . . . one visible and one not-so-visible to just anybody. No regrets. The visible one is a heart on the inside of my left wrist, which I thought I could conceal under my watch. I haven’t worn a watch since I got the tattoo. I love the whole process, and no, I didn’t find it to be painful. I got both of mine on the same day, and probably won’t get more—well, maybe one, someday—because I could get carried away. My previous husband, an artist, made temporary tattoos for me with markers, and I thought about it a long time so I was sure. Not for everybody, but if you want it badly, go for it.
