I need to stop waiting to “be a real artist” and recognize that what I’m doing now is real art. For heaven’s sake. . . I’ve been commissioned on several occassions already! I need to stop looking at myself as a craftsperson, and see that I am a real artist.



get a pedicure
Wonderful!

I had my first pedicure last week. I paid $25 for an hour of bliss. I loved all the pampering. I wouldn’t do this all the time (because of the expense), but I will treat myself to one in the future. I’m thinking that this will be a nice reward for meeting some of my goals!



travel to Pompeii

I visited Pompeii on June 2, 2005. Unfortunately I was only able to stay for 2 hours, and did not get to but a fraction of this amazing place. I would love to go back again and spend more time exploring it.
