drop out of college
Untitled 3 years ago

I don’t know if it was worth it or not yet. I just dropped out not too long ago. I’ve missed so many classes that I might as well say I dropped out 3 months ago. And why the term “dropped out”? I prefer withdrew, or a break. I wasn’t going to college for myself, and what I wanted to major in, not one school in this state offers. Well I’m moving out of state soon and don’t know if I wanna attend college right away.

go to bed early
But I'm not sleepy yet!!! 3 years ago

I’m like a little kid who just refuses to go to bed early, even when I’m straining my eyes to stay open. Like now. It’s almost 1am. I don’t know what my problem is. Ever since I got out of school, I feel like it’s my mission to stay up as late as absolutely possible. Like I’m gonna miss something if I go to bed when I’m tired, which is rediculous, I mean what am I gonna miss? Conan?? Maybe I have insomnia or something, who knows. I haven’t been to bed earlier than 2am more than twice. Now that I am realizing all of this as I type, I’m gonna take my retarded ass to bed! lol.

have an afro
Like a 70s "power to the people" fro 3 years ago

I’m black and I already have a TON of hair, but I want to make it an afro. I’m not confident enough to do it yet. I’ve began wearing it natural though (not straight, flat-ironed, or relaxed). I want one like Erykah Badu had, it definately made a statement. My parents don’t think it’s such a good idea, they’re stuck in that “straight hair means good hair” trip. I have what blacks and latinos call “good hair” and my parents are afraid that if I wear it REALLY natural, people won’t know I have good hair. If you’re of a dark ethnicity you probably know what I mean. My reason for having one though is to make a statement to my own people of whom the majority believe that wearing our hair “natural” means it’s “bad” hair, or you’re too lazy to go to the salon and get your hair done. I love my hair natural and I’m damned proud of it and they should be too. I might even do dreads next year, who knows!
