How I did it: It was hard at first because I did not know what to write about. I was just posting a bunch of random things, but then I realized that I am very passionate about the African diaspora and that made it so much easier to write. Now I update my blog about once every week and a half. I also have a website, so I think I'm really getting there. Also, I've found that reading other blogs often provides me with inspiration. They kept asking who tied it for me and stared in disbelief when I said I did it myself. Someone said mine was better than my mom’s :). I’m beaming!!! Quite proud of myself, but I’ll give it a little more practice in case that was a lucky first try :)
