Probably one of the most rewarding experiences!! I went to New Orleans with a group of students from my friend’s college. We stayed at Common Ground in the 9th ward and helped to gut houses. The area was very toxic and the houses were covered in thick black mold. We had to wear special suits and masks. The devistation was unbelievable. I hope to be able to go back one day either to help out again or to visit a livly New Orleans.
