Today wasn’t a good day to me. It was so hot and I still had the migraine.

1) Just wanted to stay inside to avoid the heat.
2) Watched an old Japanese animation, Candy, on youtube. That is one of my favourite cartoons when I was little. I just couldn’t believe that I could see it again.
3) I like the Thursday’s tv shows, The Office, 30 Rock

1) It was still hot but it wasn’t too bad outside with the wind.
2) Received a letter from my Finnish penpal.
3) Finally used the points I’ve collected from years shopping at save-on, saved myself a dollar. Hahaha…better than nothing.

1) Just wanted to stay inside to avoid the heat.
2) My landlord’s family came back from their road trip to Yellow Stone Park one day earlier than planned. I’m very happy they were back because I like to hear more sound in the house.
3) Found out that my ex sent me an e-mail telling me that he is not mad at me anymore and has started moving on. However, he still wants to resume whatever we left off with more caution. I’m happy to know he’s doing better but not too sure about to continue the history.

1) A hot sunny day with a hint of breeze and then turned into rainy in the afternoon.
2) Hung out with Lucy for a little bit.
3) Found the old Chinese movie that I’d looked for years on line. The name of the movie was outside the window. The story was about a high school student falling in love with her teacher. The movie came out in the early 70s. At that time, this kind of topic was extremely controversial so it was forbidden to play in the theaters until recent.

1) It was cloudy in the morning and the skies became clearly in the afternoon. It was a nice day.
2) Received Nicole’s e-mail
3) Watched some old Chinese movies that were based on novels that I read in my teenaged years. The movies were out in 70s and early 80s, and the stories were very cheesey and so fun to watch.

1) A cloudy day. What a nice change!!!
2) Tried some Japanese style nut snack, dragon boat mix. It was pretty good.
3) Chatted with sister on msn and she shared her new favourite songs with me.

1) A beautiful breezy sunny day. Loved it!!
2) Listened to the songs that came out in my early 20s and wrote a letter to my German penpal Heike
3) Received a call from Annette and was told to get my resume ready. Hmm…interesting
4) Took a couple of short walks

1) A hot sunny day with a hint of breeze
2) On the way home from the gym, I saw an old China lady pulling the leash while the dog was staying in the shade and resting. It was surely hot, 30c, even the a dog could hardly handle it.
3) Received a phone call from Roni. She was wondering how I was doing.
4) Hell’s Kitchen started tonight.

1) A beautiful and breezy sunny day
2) Took some nap. Didn’t sleep well the night before…
3) Hung out with Darlene. We bought some sushi and soft drink and had our light dinner at a park. It was a gorgeous day. It just felt awesome to be out and enjoy the day.
4) It was nice of Darlene for offering to give me a lift to the supermarket. We both did a little bit grocery and had fun looking around.

1) A hot sunny day
2) Had a chat with Darlene over the phone. It was nice to hear from her and know she was feeling from her cold.
3) Met up with Lucy. We had Chinese for dinner and chat about the issue about J. After dinner, we went to buy a shirt for her boyfriend. She picked a really nice shirt but she also wanted to buy more. Both of us enjoyed the shopping. Most of all, we enjoyed shopping for someone else.

2) Had the job interview in downtown. Oh boy, how much I miss that area! Anyway, the interview went well, at least I thought it went well. Although I really want to get hired by this big corporation, I won’t put all my hope on it. I’m just glad that I had an interview.

1) It was overcast and sunny today, and kind of cool and nice!!!
2) Surprisely, the lady whom I did the phone interview with yesterday called me for scheduling an interview. I don’t want to say too much to jinx it. I’m just grateful for having the opportunity to have an interview.
3) Had California & spicy tuna sushi rolls for dinner and some cherries for dessert. So yummy!!!

1) It was overcast and a little bit chilli for a summer day. I liked it actually.
2) Received a phone interview by surprise. I did pretty badly actually because I was so unprepared and my mind was so all over the places. Anyway, I was glad that there was someone out there who actually read my job application.
3) Mailed the letter to Finland. This was the 3rd handwritten letter but it didn’t get any easier. Handwritten letters are hard. When it’s written on the paper, it’s there. I’m glad that I have a chance to do this old-fashion way of communication again.

Found a website for finding penpals www.interpals.net and have found some penpals to write the letters to. It’s so interesting to talk to people around the world but it’s so easily spending hours on that site. One day, I just felt sick in my stomach for being on that website too often and too long and forgetting the face that I still have a real life, a life outside of the internet. I’m trying to cut back the time on there and focus on my real life.

2) Met up with Nancy for Taiwanese food for lunch
3) Visited our mutual friend, Fay after lunch. Fay just had a new born baby girl, one month old, and she’s such a little sweetheart.
4) Bought a tea pot and more tea.

2) Hung out with Lucy and visited her new condo. Oh boy, that was beautiful.
3) Enjoyed the free outdoor performance on the last day of the jazz festival

1) It was another gorgeous day.
2) Received a call from Darlene. It was nice to hear from her but I was sorry to hear that she’s still feeling ill. So kind of her for wanting to help me. Although I don’t have much luck on job hunt, I’m so thankful for having the help and grateful for having a friend like her.
3) Watched the movie, Out of Africa, on the tv. It was interesting to see the movie that I was curious about long time ago but didn’t get a chance to watch it and eventually forgot about it. I liked the story but didn’t like the ending though.

2) Finally mailed the letter to Germany. I’ll receive mails from 2 other German girls in a week or so. I think I don’t really need to worry about where to stay when I get a chance to visit there.

That’s what I think of the belly dancing. If the community centre has this class in the fall, I will take it again.

1) A warm and beautiful day today!!!
2) It was nice to receive an e-mail from Nicole.
3) Talked to Roni a little bit. She encouraged me for not losing hope. I take some deep breath and stay positive.
4) Chatted with my sister and brother on msn. It was nice to talk to them again even the conversation was short.
5) Found a new pen pal from Germany. How exciting!!! We’re going to try the old fashion way of pen paling, snail mail.

1) Beautiful sunny day. I loved it.
2) Watched the movie The Reader. It was a great movie but the story itself was sort of dark and depressing. Anyway, it was somewhat entertaining.
3) Last belly dance class. The instructor encouraged us to dance whatever we learned in the class and followed the music and enjoyed it. But we kept watching her, tried to follow her but didn’t quite make it. Anyway, we had a great time.

1) It was another gorgeous day
2) Last salsa dance class. We learned another new step and it was kind of complicated to me. I was just glad that I got it before it ended. The instructor said this class was the most fun class she’s ever taught. What a compliment to us and her! In the end of class, we just exchanged e-mail address and number. We might plan to go dancing all together one day.
3) Did a little grocery and took a bus home with Susan. It was nice to get to know one of classmates a little bit more.
