This is a woman thing. You know Madonna did that; Erika Jong also did it; Anais Nin – these women flew in the face of convention – Gloria Steinem; Goldie Hawn; Judi Dench…help me out here with this list – amazing women who just went out and did ‘it’ in spite of what the world expected.
I’ve done a lot of performing – acting, performing my poems, etc. – and the audience has always been – well – intimate. That has it’s plusses, but I’d like to experience a big audience and get a big applause – and do a tour with big audiences and big applauses!
