My lil sister…finally graduated from dentistry school!! She is now known as Dr. D. To celebrate her achievement, with my mom’s idea of a dinner, I turned it into a surprise party. I gave everyone one task to do (cook a dish) and I took care of the decorations (with help of my oldest sister). Then I bought stuff for a bean auction which went really well!! I had to keep her away from the house to make sure she was unaware of what was taking place. She LOVED it!! I’m very glad and happy we did this for her!
CONGRATS DR. D!!!

How I did it: ~You can learn something by anything~I researched universities, organizations, and companies that I was interested in. Come to find out, they had events open to the public to attend; even if they didnt %100 apply to me, I WENT. At least it offered a lunch and a chance to network with people with similar interests....GETTING AHEAD!!Some events did cost money, so I looked for volunteering opportunities and others I was fortunate enough to h… Read how I did it…
How I did it: By dating and learning about my value.....I can control the effect people have in my life. I control my destiny. It is up to you to know what you take from every situtation and what you choose to leave behind. Read how I did it…
Life has its ups and certainly their down….however one thing always prevails and that is your reaction to the action. I’ve been dealt bad cards and picked up a few rotten ones on the way. Despite the pitfalls, I appreciate every life dreading experience that has occurred. I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world (hmmm maybe a law degree from Harvard…lolol hell naw)! This week is a prime example of the bad cards dealt and rotten ones picked up. From strange phone calls to the batmobile dying on Northside Drive lolol….Im still happy. This hasnt killed me, that has made me stronger and smarter :) All I can say is that I am and will be forever happy despite all trials and tribulations…why you may asked?! CUZ I SAID SO! POW!!!
So since last year, I can say I have attended more conferences than I anticipated…
In 2009 I attended 3-Emory MBA Diversity Luncheon, Amnesty International…and something else.
Then this year I did the airport forum, energy forum, ACF, Dalai Llama…
Therefore, ALL IN ALL, I did about 7 conferences/forums…some I volunteered in and others I helped put on.
