Doing good on the reading part, but the praying is hard for me sometimes. Going to make a conscious effort to pray every day, even if it’s a small prayer.

Finally got my own place about 3 weeks before my wedding, so I was actually on my own for a couple of weeks. Now, of course, my husband lives here as well.
It’s so great having your own space…being able to do whatever you want, because it’s your stuff. On the down side, bills! I had bills before, but now nearly as many as I do now. But I think the independence is totally worth it.
I’ve been married for almost 3 months now, and we’ve definitely got the “happy” part down. It takes time to get the “long” part accomplished however, so this goal should stay here for quite awhile.
We watched the first movie on the 30th, then watched the other two back to back on New Year’s Eve. That’s close enough for me. Fun nights though.

I am now the proud owner of a scarf made from Leslie clan tartan. I picked it up in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago. It’s something I’ve always wanted and I’m so glad I now have this little piece of my family history.
So I dyed my hair. It was supposed to be kind of purpley, but instead it came out maroon and looked like a semi-normal haircolor. Therefore, I am holding onto this goal until my next long vacation from teaching piano when I will go back to the original plan of bright red. Perfect for Christmas vacation, right?
