I surprised a man who I didn’t know his name. But he is homeless and I have seen him for years now. At the expressway exit ramp where I get off at. I always give him a few bucks and in past years I have given him gloves, blankets and other things too stay warm through the winter months. But this last winter I hadn’t seen him around and I started to wondered if he passed away. But this last Sunday as I was getting off the expressway there he was. I asked him Where have you been?? He stated that he had a heart attack and pnemonia and had been in and out of the hospital over the winter. So I gave him what money I had in my wallet and told him not too leave. I told him I have been holding onto something since Christmas to gave to you. I drove back over there and handed him the $100.00 gift card to the local grocery store and a $30.00 prepaid phone card. So that he could call his family if he has any. He started to cry and said that he would like to give me a hug but he is so dirty and hasn’t bathe in days. But I didn’t care. I hugged him and didn’t care that all those people were beeping their horns and yelling at me. I finally know his name. It is Mike but everyone calls him Mickey.

I love what many call Pound Puppies.. I have always gotten my pets from a shelter or taken in an animal that wasn’t being properly cared for. My latest addition to my family is Dominoe. She was 9 weeks old when I got her-she is now 13 weeks. She is a St. Bernard and Hound Mix. But she is the runt of the litter. Her littermates ranged from 18-23 pounds at 9 weeks old. She was only 11 pounds. But she has a lot of growing into her paws still left too do. Unlike her littermates she is White with Black spots. All the rest have the markings to look like a St. Bernard. That is what made her so special to me.
Had our 1st class last Saturday. It was a riot to see all the puppies interacting with each other and not caring about learning very much. The trainer called my puppy a show off since my son took the same class a couple months ago and I went too watch then. So I knew a few of the tricks of the trade. So I had already taught Dominoe sit and come. I love doing this kind of stuff with my dogs. It gives my dogs such great joy when they do it right and are rewarded that they want to do it over and over again. Now if I can get Dominoe to stop thinking the cat is some kind of interactive toy that she must somehow bite to make it go- then my problem will be solved. But she is only 13 weeks old.
