I have been working for an internship in a bookstore in the city for two weeks and it has been absolutely wonderful. I just loved it.
Putting the books away, talking to customers and get to buy books cheaper. Those were the best two weeks I had this semester.
The people in the store also liked my work and so I tend to think about becoming a professional bookseller.
But first of all I’m going to study English Literature and then I’ll see what life will bring to me.

Well, words mean a lot to me. That’s why I want a tattoo that’s based on a book. In february I will turn eighteen and that will be when I will get my tattoo. That is when I know until then, what I want.
Because there are way too many quotes that mean way too much to me. There is the one from Chuck Palahniuks ‘Diary’ that fits me all too well. My heart rumbles whenever I repeat it in my mind.
“And the more she could imagine the island, the less she liked the real world. The more she could imagine the people, the less she liked any real people. It got until she didn’t belong anywhere. It got so nobody was good enough, refined enough, real enough. Nothing was as real as her imagined world.”
I would like that one in my own handwriting on the inside of my upper right arm. It just fits me, since I tend to drift of into my own world a lot, where everything is just the way I want it to be.
But then there’s Richard Adams ‘Watership Down’ and that story has been with me since I was little. I have always watched that movie and well, we always had rabbits. I love rabbits. They kind of symbolize my personality. Quiet, but attentive and loving. If I decide to take that one, I want to have the black rabbit of InlĂ© on my right wrist and then a quote from the book.
“My heart has joined the thousands.”
That one would be under my left breast, under my heart. But I don’t know yet. Sometimes I don’t want any tattoos at all, but then again I want it badly.
I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know.
At least I still have over six months to think about it.
