So I adopted another dog in november… but it didn’t exactly happen the way I wanted it to. I wanted to adopt a second dog, one to keep my older girl company.
Lucky passed away from cancer and then I had no dog. It really still hurts to think about. I debated about getting antoher dog, but the truth is, I knew I was always going to miss her, so why not get another dog out of an over crowded shelter while I was healing?
I spend a long, crazy and emotional day at North Shore Animal League and then ended up with a completely nutty new Basenji/Terrier mix named Bean. He’s shaking things up like a new baby would, and my parents and brother shower him with affection.
I still miss Lucky, but Bean is an amazing little guy.

It seems like it gets easier every year! I’ve got tomatoes (we’ll see if I get any this year) hot and sweet peppers (both have been very good in the past) and once the weather levels off, we’re putting out the herb pot. Still got a huge lavender and aloe plant, as well as chives and rosemary which survived the winter in the house, as well as my slightly strugging red roses…
I really want to buy more plants for this year, but I’m going to wait until after my vacation. I might have a little plant problem…

I’ve been really really good about going to yoga. I’d made it every week for about a month, and even managed to make the midweek class once. Then things got a little weird.
The teacher started paying a lot of attention to me in class… and then he offered me passes to the other gym he works at… then he said I should just stop by and ask for him… and now… well, I think he’s trying to hit on me. The man’s married, with a high school aged son. That’s just messed up.
Let’s just say this has effected my attendence a bit.
