One time I saw them, they seemed far away and just barely white. We pulled over to the side of the road to watch a little more. Soon, the sky overhead was filled with the dancing Aurora Borealis. First, they were all white, but soon turned to the color of the rainbow. Amazing. I didn’t have my camera with but the image is burned into my mind.
