How I did it
How to rEVISED: Pay off 2 more credit card bills by June 30, 2010. (It was Dec 31, 2009.)
It took me
3 months
It made me
Freakin' ecstatic!

How I did it: Well, the plan was simple. Commit to taking a large amount of money from one check per month to put towards the bill with the lowest balance. Continue to pay the minimum on all other bills. Once the bill with the lowest balance is paid off, feel the great sense of accomplishment and run with it to now focus on the credit card with the highest interest. How I did it: Since my job offers classes, I just had to get the money together to do it. My new gym also offers classes, so I will probably discontinue going at work, and will focus on the classes at the gym...it is already included in the membership fees. Ya know? No need to spend extra money unnecessarily. Read how I did it…

Cruise anyone?

So my family is considering taking a cruise. I would love to! I want to hit different ports like PR, Haiti, Grenada…but we will see. Of course I cannot do any of this without a passport. So that “thing” may be moved off of the list if we get this trip going.

I will surely be happy to strike something off of the list.

I had the chance to go to Hawaii…no $$. I have a chance to go to New Orleans, LA (I have been before so I don’t want to include it, but I guess I can since it would be travel and it has been soooo long.) I just have to get airfare. I think I should be able to handle that…no? Well, with my credit cards maxxed out…not so much. Hence that is also on the list.

It is all so intertwined…but I need to pull out my tweezers and separate them and attack.

I am ready. Let’s go!

Hmm...maybe later.

That was a joke.

I find that I procrastinate because I am avoiding something, or I think it is going to be hard or take a lot of time.

This just leads to more anxiety as the deadline looms over my head. But what I have found, more often than not, is that the task usually is not that bad. In most cases it is way less complicated and could have been done eons ago. I just won’t start sooner.

I know better, but I don’t do better.

Any tips?
