I received a letter in the mail recently from the honor society at my community college asking me to be a member of Phi Theta Kappa. I was so excited because I have worked so hard for these grades! I will be inducted at the beginning of November. Most likely I will be asked to be part of an honor society when I transfer to a university in Fall of 2010, YAY!

How I did it: I've lived in AZ for 8 years and have never been to the grand canyon. Finally, my husband decided to take me. We didn't do the tourist stuff, we hiked to the canyon from some old roads. When walking, the grand canyon just suddenly appears out of nowhere. If I had been walking at night I would have walked off the cliff :-0 We walked along the rim for a while then we decided to relax by the edge, letting our feet hang off t… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I hated living next door to my in-laws and my husband and I are divorcing, so I found an apartment. I leased it for 6 months. I want to move out of this town but I will wait until I am done getting my little associate's degree to transfer to a university out of this town. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I decided to take a last minute trip out of the country with 1 week notice. My husband and I have been going through a very rough patch in our marriage. A friend of mine told me that he was going to Puerto Rico and I just said how much I would love to go. Without much thought he said "done!" He told me that if I wanted to go there would be a ticket waiting for me. This is one of my husband's greatest fears-a man trying to sweep… Read how I did it…

This is not going well! I’ve only gotten two speeding tickets in the last month, adds up to $430! I really need to slow down but it is so addicting.
Summer semester down. Had another 4.0 semester! Fall semester is going to be a little harder, working full time and going to school full time.
