Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

Complete Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred
Well....

I’ve completed 14 days so far..but i took 2 weeks off after getting an upper respitory infection, but i was back at it today. Since starting the program Ive only lost 2 pounds, but, i lost a total of 7 inches, and that to me is amazing. My clothes are fitting much better and I just look smaller, even if just a little :) I think i’m just going to “restart” the program. I have 28 more pounds to loose:) So I guess today was my day one again!

lose weight

Raise awareness about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
My two sons...

My two beautiful sons have this stupid disease.

http://www.parentprojectmd.org/site/PageServer?pagename=understanding_about

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), hit my family in the back of the head in August 2009 when both of my children were diagnosed with it. I’ve heard of muscular dystropy before, but I didn’t know much about it. I’ve NEVER heard of DUCHENNE md before though.
They’ll be in power wheelchairs somewhere between 10 and 12, and they’ll loose their strength. Though men with duchenne md are living longer, most won’t make it to see their 30th birthday, and many are taken in their teens and early 20s.
I want so badly for a cure to be found. But who knows how long away that day is. So for now, i live in the moment, and enjoy our time with them as much as possible. I raise awareness as best as i can, and i do fundraiser when i can. I loveeee my children so much<3
