How I did it: I just took every situation and looked at it like how a kid would. Kids see things in the innocent light, adukts see it in the complicated light. So there’s actually been a fair enough improvement in this past 2 weeks. Nowadays I only swear when I’m joking around or when someone does something really silly on the roads while they driving.
Other than that,I am proud of myself for trying really hard at doing this and actually getting somewhere. I feel lighter and better.
I swear only when I’m really angry and sometimes in general conversation with a friend. But sometimes its not because there’s a real need to. Its casually in a conversation but as I swear, I hear myself and it doesn’t sound nice at all. Not in a joke or not when I’m angry either. So now I’ve looked for words to substitute the swear words. Its a little frustrating to contain myself sometimes because the swearing came so easily but I have to stop. Its not lady like,not professional and not nice especially to those around you. Its quite disrespectful to people around me so I have stopped thinking that it is just ok to swear because it’s not.
